Mission

To provide public education, involvement opportunities, and services that conserve and protect our region's air, water, land, and human resources.

Community Involvement

Keep Coppell Beautiful Board- City Council appointed board with 7 members and 2 youth members.

Adopt a Location- A Keep Coppell Beautiful program where organizations and businesses volunteer to clean up city right of ways.

Coppell Community Garden - An award winning community program where volunteers use their gardening skills to grow produce for a local food pantry, and the gardens provide environmental education to all ages.

Coppell Farmers Market - An all volunteer committee manages the market from marketing, vendor communication to farm visits and farm to table dinners.  A great way to get involved in providing a local food source for the community.

EcoCoppell Corp- Volunteers have been through the EcoCoppell Corp comprehensive training on green and sustainable living.  They have committed to take action in greening their own lives and extending that to the community through ecoCoppell outreach and involvement programs.

Green Team Recognition- A Keep Coppell Beautiful multi-tiered recognition program designed to foster environmental awareness and promote sustainable behavior.

Community Service and Service Learning Projects - Involves individuals, schools, and organizations in activities and projects that make a difference in the community. Over 2,000 volunteers, including youth, contribute thousands of hours of service through the community gardens, wildflower planting, litter pick-up, creek clean-up, nature trails, and playground upkeep.

 
Clean Coppell is the annual city wide clean up and is celebrated at the Coppell Earthfest each spring.  A fun event for the whole family to get involved.
