| The Coppell Fire Department responds to approximately 3,000 calls for service a year. Of the 3,000 calls, health care and medical related emergencies (EMS), which includes motor vehicle accidents, account for almost 85% of all responses. Fire calls make up approximately 12% of the calls. Various other emergencies and non-emergency calls for service (i.e. hazardous material incidents and special rescue responses) account for the remainder of the department's activities. |
